Plenty of women throughout history have managed to work with their babies in tow. Still, while there are plenty of online resources for stay-at-home moms and for working moms who leave their babies in someone else's care all day (and plenty of vitriol directed from and at both sides), I couldn't help noticing during occasional late-night googling that there's not a lot out there about moms (or dads) who take their babies to work with them--especially not in the how-to department. So I figured I would share what I've learned and invite other folks to be in touch and share their experiences.
I started bringing my first baby to work when she was three weeks old; she stayed until she was 2 1/2 years old (yes, that's a little too long, as it turns out). Baby #2 was born in October; we're in the office almost every day for five or six hours.
